My Department has entered into a lease with the Health Research Board for additional accommodation at Grattan House, Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2. The lease was signed on the 2nd March 2020 for a period of 3 years. The lease terms are:

- Lease Cost - €154,615 (+VAT) per annum

- Annual Service Charge - €96,000 per annum (No VAT applies)

In addition, my Department signed a 25 year lease with Irish Estates in 1998 for premises at the Irish Life building to house the Women’s Health Council. This was subsequently used to house the Disability Appeals Office. An POST National Lottery currently sublet the premises from my Department on an annual basis. The lease cost to my Department is on a net neutral basis as all costs are paid by the National Lottery. The lease expires in 2023 and has an annual value of €98,500.

My Department contracts the offices for the Farrelly Commission of Investigation, Ormond Quay, Dublin 1 through a service agreement which commenced in October 2017. The agreement is renewable and the total cost to date is €1,043,674.
