Ceisteanna (957)

Catherine Connolly

Ceist:

957. Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Health if he will update the HSE's advice on Covid-19 and pregnancy to take into account the joint occupational health advice (details supplied) for employers from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Royal College of Midwives and the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, which highlights women who are 28 weeks pregnant and beyond as at increased risk of becoming seriously ill if they contract Covid-19; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Given the role of the HSE’s National Women and Infants Health Programme in the dissemination of pregnancy related clinical guidelines, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
