309. Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the proposed date for the publication of the disability (miscellaneous provisions) Bill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39499/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Disability Miscellaneous Provisions Bill 2016 reached Committee Stage in the previous Dáil, however, the Bill lapsed with the dissolution of the Dáil and Seanad in January 2020. The Programme for Government commits to finalising this required legislation and while there is no date for publication as yet, work on progressing the legislation is ongoing in my Department.
