348. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Education when the publication of the review of out of school settings will take place; if the review will inform future policy in this area; and the status of the review. [41725/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraAction 88 of the DEIS Plan provides for a review of current out of school education provision. This review has been carried out by a Working Group chaired by my Department and including representatives from Tusla and the Education and Training Board sector. This review has been informed through the use of questionnaires, submissions from stakeholders and a public consultation process, including consultation with students.
A draft report is currently being compiled; it is intended to publish this report once the work has been finalised. It is envisaged that the report will inform future policy in this area.
