Since my appointment as Minister for Social Protection I have not had occasion to speak formally with my UK counterpart.
I participated in the North South Ministerial Council Plenary meeting on 31st July with my counterparts from Northern Ireland with a further meeting planned in December.
I have also spoken via video conference with my Northern Ireland counterpart Minister for Communities Carál Ní Chuilín MLA.
I hope this clarifies matters for the Deputy.
