120. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Education if she will review correspondence (details supplied); if her attention has been drawn to the issue; her plans to protect this facility; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [42470/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm to the Deputy that my Department has recently been made aware of the proposal by the school authority in question. My Department is considering same and will be communicating with the school authority shortly. In such cases local consultation, which includes the consideration of parents, is necessary and will form part of the final assessment process.
