Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage further to Parliamentary Question No. 101 of 28 January 2021, if he plans consulting with the local authority and members of the Houses of the Oireachtas representing Galway city and county in relation to the proposed merger of Galway city and county councils before proceeding with the review promised in his reply; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
