254. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the status of the new Garda building project at Military Road, Dublin; if the project is on schedule and within budget; if his attention has been drawn to delays in delivering this project; if he has been briefed in respect of the anticipated cost overrun; and the estimated amount of expected overrun costs. I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works that construction of the new Garda Security and Operations Centre at Military Rd, Dublin 8 is on schedule to be completed on time in September 2022. I am further advised by the Commissioners that the project is being developed within budget and it is expected that the project will be delivered on time within its total project budget.
