Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if consultations will take place with an organisation (details supplied) in order for it to consider the provision of electronic payment facilities for farmers who are selling stock given the absence of an electronic funds transfer arrangement which will put farmers who do not have easy access to lodgement facilities for cheques at a disadvantage; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
