247. Deputy Cormac Devlin asked the Minister for Transport if he will request the NTA to review demand for bus services on the 7D, 7B and 63 bus routes to ensure customer demand is being met in particular for school children; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22029/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for the provision of public transport services in association with the relevant transport operators i.e., in this case, Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
