600. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of data breaches suffered by his Department in each of the past five years and to date in 2021. [26093/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can inform the Deputy that a total of 47 breaches occurred in my Department in the years 2017 to 2021. This is broken down as follows:
2017 - 1 breach.
2018 - 14 breaches.
2019 - 10 breaches.
2020 - 17 breaches.
2021 - 5 breaches (to date).
