Deputy Gary Gannon asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to calls from by organisation (details supplied) to have students who, while sitting their State exams, experience a medical emergency such as a seizure and are therefore unable to complete their exam, be accommodated to sit them at a later date but before CAO offers; if she is considering this proposal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.
