343. Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of workers employed by his Department and in each office or agency under the aegis of his Department that earn less than the living wage of €12.30 per hour; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [33591/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe remuneration of directly employed staff in my Department is sanctioned by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform in line with Government policy. There is currently one officer within the Department of Foreign Affairs who earns less than €12.30 per hour. This excludes staff who are absent on long term sick leave.
There are no agencies under the aegis of my Department.
