468. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a decision has been made on an application for a domiciliary care allowance by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [43320/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe domiciliary care allowance application from the person concerned has been finalised. They were notified by letter dated the 7th September 2021 that domiciliary care allowance has been awarded from 1st July 2021. Arrears due will issue with the September payment on the 21st September 2021.
I trust this clarifies matters for the Deputy.
