Deputy Noel Grealish asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the number of students who having achieved points totalling 550 or more in the leaving certificate but who failed to secure a place on their preferred third-level course due to random selection in 2021, in tabular form; the numbers involved in each individual course in each ten-point segment up to the maximum of 625 points; the number who achieved 625 points; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
