Deputy Patrick Costello asked the Minister for Transport if he plans to use his power to increase by statutory instrument the fixed charge penalty notice fine for offences such as parking on a footpath, driving on a pedestrianised street, driving in a bus lane and to also introduce penalty points for such egregious offences.
