Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health his views on whether any other staffing positions are required other than the current proposal before the National Consultant Appointments Advisory Committee for one permanent consultant post for the medical assessment unit, Nenagh General Hospital; if not, if the unit is adequately staffed other than this pending consultant position; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
