116. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Finance the number of property purchases, residential and rental, which included the purchase of more than ten properties in each of the years 2015 to 2020. [49328/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that the table below provides the number of property purchases and properties purchased, where greater than ten properties were included in a single transaction in each of the years from 2015 to 2020. The data are based on Stamp Duty returns where multiple purchases were filed on a single instrument.
The returns do not indicate whether the intended use of the properties by the purchaser was rental or otherwise.
