59. Deputy Seán Canney asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the value of the dormant accounts fund that is to be available in 2022 to support community development; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [49405/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe 2022 Dormant Accounts Fund Action Plan is currently in preparation. Departments are currently concluding the estimates process and the Action Plan will be finalised following the Budget. It is envisaged that the 2022 Action Plan will be published in November 2021. The 2021 Dormant Account Action Plan approved funding of up to €51 million across 10 departments supporting 46 measures. The value of funding to be approved in the 2022 Action Plan is expected to be similar to this year’s plan.
