723. Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 660 of 12 October 2021, the number of cattle slaughtered from controlled finishing units in September 2021; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [54636/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraControlled Finishing Units as part of the bovine TB Eradication Programme are subject to enhanced biosecurity measures and can only sell direct to slaughter. The following table shows the number of cattle slaughtered at EU approved slaughter plants originating in Controlled Finishing Units in September 2021.
