222. Deputy Joe Carey asked the Minister for Transport his plans to publish a report (details supplied) and urgently implement its recommendations regarding organisational structures that underpin marine casualty investigation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [57399/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe report by Clinchmaritime Ltd. was received in July 2021. The report and its recommendations are currently being considered by officials in my Department as part of the review of organisational structures for marine casualty investigation in Ireland. Additionally, the Department is engaging with the Office of the Attorney General to obtain legal advice on certain aspects of the report.
