Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Health the level of specialist services available for patients presenting to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for ocular emergencies at weekends; if patients with eye-related emergencies who present to the hospital at late hours or at weekends are seen and treated immediately by a specialist ophthalmologist or a member of the ophthalmology team; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
