Deputy Marc MacSharry asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to a rapid smell test (details supplied) which detects Covid-19; if his Department has considered using the test for large scale events; if not, if his Departmental officials will engage with the manufacturers in order to assess the efficacy and suitability of the test for use at large scale events in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
