690. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Defence if he will provide a schedule of all client and or customer facing and or orientated services that his Department provide via a contracted service provider; the contractor that provides the service; and the cost of same for the past five years to date in 2022. My Department is not responsible for the provision of any public services which have been outsourced.

The Military Authorities have advised me that none of the roles outlined in the White Paper on Defence 2015, Chapter 5 – Roles of the Defence Forces, are contracted to a service provider.
