295. Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Social Protection the current waiting time for applications for jobseeker’s benefit; the number of persons awaiting a decision; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4073/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs of 24th January 2022, there are 2,476 applicants awaiting a decision for Jobseeker's Benefit, with an average waiting time of 12 days. According to our latest data, around 96% of applicants for Jobseeker's Benefit are awarded payment within three weeks or less of their claim being registered.
