Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Education the total number of officials who are currently assigned to her Department; the number of officials that have been transferred from her Department to the Department of Further and Higher Education since its establishment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Following the establishment of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science in August 2020, 122 officials transferred on foot of the transfer of further and higher education functions from the Department of Education
