Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs when an application for a passport will be processed for a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason, despite the fact that the application was lodged on 13 January 2022, that the applicant was only notified that there was a problem with their application via a letter sent to them in the past week; if the passport will issue to the applicant on time now that all documentation has been returned to the Passport Office; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
