307. Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the reason that Ireland is yet to ratify the Nagoya Protocol, a supplementary agreement to the Convention on Biodiversity, which 133 parties have ratified including many EU members. [16320/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is currently working with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the ratification process for the Nagoya Protocol. I intend for the process to be finalised in advance of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, which will take place in China later this year.
