553. Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the State bodies that are bound by the Code of Conduct for State bodies; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19784/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department publishes the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies. The Code provides a broad framework for the application of best practice in corporate governance. The Code applies to both commercial and non-commercial State bodies. The Code itself notes that it should be read in accordance with any specific legislative provisions that govern specific state bodies, and that in the event of any conflict the legislative provisions prevail.
