Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Transport if he will provide details of contracts awarded in 2022 by his Department or bodies under his aegis outside the standard procurement process in order to assist the arrival of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While my department and its agencies have been actively involved in efforts to support Ukrainian refugees arriving in Ireland, no contracts related to this matter have been awarded to date. In the event that new contracts arise, these will be developed in full compliance with standard procurement processes.
