Deputy Chris Andrews asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the grants that were issued to a college (details supplied) over the past five year from the Department; the terms and conditions in the granting of capital grants for sports facility; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP) is the primary vehicle for Government support for the development of sports and recreation facilities and the purchase of non-personal sports equipment throughout the country. Details of all allocations under the SCEP since 2000 are published on www.gov.ie/en/collection/471ed5-sports-capital-allocations/. The Department has no records of providing SCEP funding to the organisation referred to by the Deputy in the last five years.
