Dara Calleary
Ceist:712. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that there is no unit for the treatment of intestinal failure in adults in Ireland and up to 100 people are diagnosed with intestinal failure in Ireland every year and must travel to England for treatment; and if he will engage with the HSE to pursue the establishment of this unit, particularly when one exists for children in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin.
