1982. Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a person (details supplied) who applied for a felling licence in 2018 will receive a decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30394/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe applicant submitted a felling application in 2018 which was approved by the Department and then appealed (and automatically suspended as a result) by a third party to the Forestry Appeals Committee. The applicant subsequently submitted a new application on 10th February 2021. This application is currently being processed and a licence is likely to be issued within two months, provided no issues arise. Please be aware that this decision will be open to appeal to the Forestry Appeals Committee for a period of 14 days of the date of the decision.
