154. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Social Protection if a person (details supplied) will be approved for an invalidity pension as a matter of urgency based on their medical reports. [31194/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 24 February 2022 and will receive his first payment to his nominated credit union on 16 June 2022. Any arrears due from 24 February 2022 to 15 June 2022 will issue in due course. The person in question was notified of this decision on 09 June 2022.
I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
