238. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if a person (details supplied) now qualifies for the living alone allowance given that they recently turned 66 years of age; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [35238/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraIn order to examine entitlement to living alone allowance for the person concerned, they must submit an application to this Department. I have arranged for an application form for the living alone allowance to be posted to the person concerned. When the completed application is received in my Department, a decision will be made and the person concerned will be notified of the outcome without delay.
