Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Education if she will address the unequal treatment of two students who were unable to complete the leaving certificate exams, one with epilepsy who was refused a deferred sitting and one with appendicitis who was allowed a deferred sitting; the efforts that she will take to ensure that all students experiencing a medical emergency are treated equally; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
