Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department received correspondence, forwarded from An Taoiseach's office on behalf of 'Alice', requesting a meeting. A reply with an invitation to meet issued to 'Alice' from my Department, and the meeting took place on Monday 25th July 2022.
Without commenting on the specifics of an individual case, I would encourage all people affected by abuse in childhood to contact both Tusla and An Garda Síochána to report their experiences and receive support.
