2177. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of legal cases brought against her Department in each of the past ten years and to date in 2022; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39997/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraTwo legal cases have been brought against my Department since it was established in 2017. These relate to a judicial review initiated in 2019 (which is ongoing) into the outcome of a procurement competition for an island transport contract and a High Court summons initiated in 2021 (ongoing) concerning a matter relating to an employee.
