350. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Finance the estimated revenue that would be raised by extending the 1% stamp duty on the purchase of shares to all share buy-backs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42578/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that as details of share buy backs are not reported on tax returns, it does not have data on which to base an accurate estimate of the potential annual revenue from extending the scope of this tax as outlined by the Deputy.
