787. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Defence the expenses paid to Ministerial advisers in his Department in each of the years 2020 and 2021 and to date in 2022, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43149/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraSince my appointment as Minister for Defence in June 2020, I have appointed two special advisers. These advisers are appointed to me in my capacity as Minister for Defence and also as Minister for Foreign Affairs. They are employees of the Department of Foreign Affairs and as such, expenses are administered by that Department.
