Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Education if she will review concerns raised by a primary school teacher (details supplied) in respect of their difficulties with the Department’s sick leave policies; and if she will arrange for the appropriate official to review the matter. I can inform the Deputy that the concerns raised by the teacher concerned have been reviewed and staff from the Primary Payroll section of my Department have been in direct contact with the teacher to resolve the issues raised.
