141. Deputy Holly Cairns asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the steps that he is taking to increase the percentage of electric or hybrid vehicles owned by his Department and state agencies and bodies under the Department’s remit. [45578/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraGeological Survey Ireland, a Division of my Department operates a small fleet of vehicles to support fieldwork and operations. The current fleet includes an electric car and it is policy to purchase hybrid or electric cars where suitable options exist as replacement or additional vehicles are required.The information requested in relation to the bodies under the aegis of my Department is an operational matter for each body. The Department will request the relevant body to reply directly to the Deputy with the information requested in respect of their organisation.
