135. Deputy Pauline Tully asked the Minister for Finance the estimated additional revenue that would be generated from a 3% surcharge on all taxable income above €400,000 and €750,000 respectively in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [47244/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by Revenue that the table below sets out the estimated yield to the Exchequer, on a first and full year basis, from the introduction of a 3rd rate of income tax of 43% applicable to taxable income in excess of €400,000 and €750,000 respectively.
