Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to a proposal for a school building project (details supplied); the engagement she or her Department have had with the school in relation to progressing this project; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to advise the Deputy that my Department is in receipt of an application for capital funding under the Additional School Accommodation (ASA) scheme from the school authority in question.
Supplementary information has been requested from the school authority and once this is received, and the assessment completed a decision will be conveyed directly to the school authority.
