Amharc ar fhreagraCommencing planning for military radar capabilities, including primary radar, is one of a number of early actions identified in the High Level Action Plan that sets out the Government’s response to the report of the Commission on the Defence Forces. While I can confirm that work is currently underway on this early action, and funding for this was prioritised in last week's budget, the question of where such radar systems may be located is premature at this early stage of the process.
