224. Deputy Neale Richmond asked the Minister for Transport if he has considered allowing taxi drivers to transfer their taxi licence to another driver who is licensed but who does not hold a taxi licence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [49576/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry, including SPSV licensing, is a matter for the independent transport regulator, the National Transport Authority (NTA), under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Acts 2013 and 2016.
