835. Deputy Duncan Smith asked the Minister for Health if he will examine favourably on a submission from the CHI when submitted to provide chest bracing service for children under the public healthcare system; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51922/22]

This process seeks to balance available funding across all service areas to achieve the best possible outcomes for the greatest number of service users and prioritise areas of greatest need.
As part of this process, on an annual basis, the HSE submits its National Service Plan, which sets out the type and volume of new measures to be provided, to my Department for approval .
