97. Deputy Patricia Ryan asked the Minister for Defence the action being taken to remediate the illegal infilling of the hollow next to Donnelly’s Hollow on the Curragh; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [52350/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department and Kildare County Council have concluded a successful mediation agreement. As a result of which, my Department have engaged the services of environmental consultants to carry out a Natura Impact Statement and an Environmental Impact Statement, incorporating a restoration plan to be agreed with Kildare County Council. These assessments are progressing in partnership with the County Council. I am advised that it is intended that these assessments will be concluded by the year end.
