283. Deputy Bríd Smith asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if there are plans to host a reception for the Irish women’s football team following their success in getting to the World Cup finals; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [52944/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Irish women's football team's qualification for the 2023 World Cup Finals is a fantastic achievement and I am sure the whole country will be supporting the team when they compete in the tournament next summer. The Department is open to engaging with the FAI with the possibility of hosting a reception for the team and this could be considered in advance of their departure for Australia next year.
