Ceisteanna (149)

Paul Murphy

Ceist:

149. Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been drawn to reports that each Irish horse racing track is averaging at least one death per meeting (details supplied), and that Punchestown is a particular worry, as are some of the other tracks, where figures of deaths outweigh the number of meetings; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
